Island - Iceland

Die spektakuläre Landschaft ist von Vulkanismus und Wasser geprägt, einige Vulkane sind immer wieder aktiv. Es gibt zahlreiche Wasserfälle, Seen und Flüsse, eine Vielzahl von Gletschern prägen das Gesicht Islands. Die Insel ist spärlich bewohnt, ein Großteil der Bevölkerung lebt in der Hauptstadt Reykjavik.

This spectacular landscape is characterized by volcanism and water, some volcanoes are always active. There are numerous waterfalls, lakes and rivers, a multitude of glaciers shape the face of Iceland. The island is sparsely populated, much of it’s population lives in the capital Reykjavik.
